It's been a busy time for our Employability Service recently and a few positive changes have taken place to enhance our project in the past 6 months. First of all, we have expanded out from Edinburgh City and we now also cover East Lothian, West Lothian and Midlothian. We continue to work across Fife, Perth & Kinross and the City of Dundee. As a result of this expansion, we have taken on a new Employability Advisor – Carole Wallace who started with us in January 2018. Katharine Jackson has also changed roles and is now the Employability Engagement Advisor. These new changes allow us to engage more with employers and to reach out and support more Deaf, deafened, HoH and Deafblind people.

We support unemployed Deaf, Deafblind, deafened and Hard of Hearing adults over 25 years old with enhancing their chances of successfully getting a job. These include:

Workshops

Our employability service also delivers a range of workshops including:

They will be based in the offices listed above.

If you’d like to refer someone to our service please complete a referral Employability Form 2018. For more information please contact Carole McKay on the details provided above.
