Westbank is a provider of educational and employability related activities for clients with significant barriers preventing undertaking paid employment.
We facilitate introductory courses in joinery, horticulture, land-based industries, vehicles familiarisation/mechanics, painting and decorating and also deliver accredited certified courses for telehandler, fork truck and elevating platform.
Westbank can also provide facilities for partner organisations and their clients requiring high levels of support to learn new skills by working on a number of basic activities. This service is directed at those furthest from the job market where significant input is required to move them towards the beginning of the employability pipeline.
Clients at Westbank come from various referral streams with the majority being offenders sentenced to Community Payback, we do however provide placements for school pupils, those in need of support and specific solutions for challenging clients.
