Through the Young Persons Guarantee - Employer Recruitment Incentive, we strive to eliminate youth unemployment by offering employers a financial contribution of up to £6,500 to provide young people with meaningful and sustainable job opportunities supported by YPG funding. Employers require to offer a newly created post for at least 52 weeks to qualify, with the ultimate aim of the young person being kept on in a permanent role. Funding can be utilised in a number of ways such as additional supervisory costs, training, initial travel to work costs or wages.

The aim is to encourage employers to recruit young people aged 16 - 24 into sustainable employment, including Modern Apprenticeships.
