Opening Times
10am to 5pm,Creative Catalyst (Scotland) CIC is a social enterprise which supports young people into Creative Careers.
Most young people we work with face barriers to education, employment and training; this can be due to social anxiety, a lack of confidence or mental health issues.
We aim to be the conduit for these young people to connect with and learn from professional artists and makers in Perth & Kinross. Our ultimate goal is to connect dozens of young people each year with their possible futures by supporting their wellbeing, confidence and abilities. We are based in WASPS Perth Creative Exchange on Stormont Street, where we offer creative workshops and training in small groups with professional artists and designers. We also offer mentoring, advice and signposting for further training, creative industry careers and jobs, including self-employment . Young people gain work-experience on real-life professional commissions, creating artwork and products to sell at makers markets and elsewhere. We currently run sessions 2 days per week which focus on creative and transferable employability skills funded by Young Start, TNL & No One Left Behind Funds.
